I think that rule are important because although everyone does not follow them they set order. People like rules I think to show people who is boss. We could probably never have the perfect life but with rules you can come close. People can follow them to help make a better enviorment for everyone to live in. This is why I

I think that rules are really important because if we didn't have them our world would be out of control. There would be a ton of killings and high jacking. Our world would also be destroyed. We wouldn't get to live normal lives. Those are all the reasons I think rules are very important.

Rules help you in everyday life. One rule that I hate is the one my mom made up it is that I have to eat my vegetables at dinner time. Another name for rules is laws. When I grow up I will not have any rules.

If there weren't any rules at all e wouldn't be able to play outside or live a modern life because there aren't any rules. You wouldn't be able to live a normal life. The rules are very important because I don't think you would want to live with crime and other bad people. This is why rules are important.
ReplyDeleteI think rules are important because everything would be crazy. Someone could get hurt because if there was a rule to not to bully, the bullies could hurt the kid. Also, if there are no rules, some people couldn't learn because they could cheat. Outside of school, there wouldn't be any money left because there wouldn't be a rule against stealing. ReplyDeleteRules are important because without rules we would be in chaos. Rules provide us with safety and extra protection. We need rules or else many of lives will be gone because there would be chaos and no order. Rules help us keep others safe froms harms way. If we didn't have rules everyone would be robbed and all there valuable belongings will be stolen from them.

I would also think that if we didn't the cities would have more injuries. They would also have more terorists coming to airports bombing our home. I also think laws are a good idea because if we didn't not many poeple would have there jobs the have now.

ReplyDeleteRules are very important. They are important because without rules the world would be insane. There would be car crashes all the time. Nobody would really care if they did something bad, because there is nothing telling them that what there doing is bad. Also, little classroom rules are important. If we didn't have classroom rules our learning environment woluld be crazy. There would be kids screaming and running around the classroom. The teacher wouldn't know what to do. People would be getting hurt in there own classroom. That is why I think rules are very important.

It's only because of the rules, there community is perfect yet strict. Our community is different because we don't "release" people. (We still don't know what they mean by "release".) That's why rules are good; add some, but don't add too much!
ReplyDeleteRules are important because if there were no rules you wouldn't have control over yourself. If you don't follow the rules, you might end up hurting yourself and other people. Rules are for safety. If you're not safe, bad things will happen more easily. that's why rules are important.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to live in this society. There are too many pointless rules. I don't understand why you can't ride a bike untill you are a Nine. On the other hand, I would like to live in this society because there is no pain, conflict, and there is less pollution. The reason there is less pollution is because everyone rides there bikes instead of letting car exhaust pollute the air. It would be nice to live in a world with no crime. That is why I think this society is a good and bad place to live.

The society that he lives in is cool but there are things that are not.I am sure that there is nothing bad that happens unlike our society. There are also weierd rules that should not be rules but there society is perfect in every way so it is a rule. I like our society better even thought bad things happen because our rules are normal while theres are not.

I would rather live in are world because we do not have to ride bikes all the time and were not allowed to like anybody. I also rather live in our world because we can play video games and watch TV instead of telling your dreams and taking stirring pills.
ReplyDeleteI would not want to live in this society because you cant go sleding and plus it does not snow there. I cant even pick my own job that would be hard doing a job that you dont want to do. Plus their is no mirrors and if you are a birth mother you can not keep your baby. If I lived there I would go crazy.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in Jonas's community, I'd hate it. All of the things they decided they did't need, I'd go crazy for. I don't know how they could handle it. My theory is that they've never experienced the world outside of their community, so they don't know what it's like.
ReplyDeleteI would want to live in the community because there everyone is content when in the real world there is murder, crime, poverty and tons of other bad things. But in this world there is also freedom, snow, sunshine, and other weather. I would only want to live in the community if I didn't know what I was missing. The saying ignorance is bliss really applies to this situation.
ReplyDeleteIt would feel weird to live in Jonas's society because it is so formal. It would feel weird waiting for stuff to come to me when I would get older. I would not like Jonas's society because you have to be polite and I am not that polite. The other reason is that it is temperate all year round.I like it to snow when it is cold, and I like that there is sun when it is hot. That is why I wouldn't like Jonas's society.
ReplyDeleteI would not like to live in this world because it is boring. If you were in the community in this book you would have to talk polite to everyone. You never could have a bad day. I have bad days all the time. I would not like it that there is climate control. The worst part is not getting a bike until you were 9. I got a bike when I was 2. I do not know what I would do without my bike when I was smaller. I could not have lived without a bike when i was 7 and 8. I am so glad I do not live in that community. I love my community!
ReplyDeleteHow would I feel in a society? I would feel a little awkward because I never know if I could get my dream job. I think the society has something to hide because why would the have sertain rules and jobs? I know there are to help people be safe. But, I still on to them!!!!

ReplyDeleteIf I was Jonas in this socitey just learning about snow and sunburn I would wonder why this happened. The world right know would be kind of confusing to me because the snow seemed so fun. If I was in this town I would really try to think about what happened and why they made the city the same.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in the society Jonas did I would feel like a person trapped in a small town. I think of the town like the Simpsons movie. They are all trapped in a society whith nothing to do. Some times I like to read if I have an interesting book. Joanas can only have about three books in his home.

Everyone also wants the weather to change even though it's at a comfortable temperature, but we still would like some changes in the weather. The reason why I would be scared is that the rules are different, the elders give you a job when your twelve, and that they can't have that much fun. But if I actually lived in this community I would feel nervous and happy at the same time. But this what I would feel if I lived in this community

It might be interesting to live in their world just to see what it is like but I think knowing what Jonas now knows I would like to explore our world. I think I would probably be more comfertable in our world.

Also they have no choices in their career because the chief elder tells you what you are going to be. There may be crime and robbery in our society but at least we have all four seasons and we get to make our own choices.

Since there is war here in our world, going there would be not the same. I would feel different there with the different people. It would even be sad for me when I would be Jonas and I couldn't even say anything about Reciever of Memory. ReplyDeleteI would hate to live in this society. There isn't any snow, seasons, books, or phones. Most importantly, there aren't t.v's which mean I wouldn't be able to be an actress. You also had no say in the changes in the community and could barley even speak your mind. I think this community is to orderly and strict.

Third,at the ceremony I would ask the Elders if they could make me "Inventor of Creation".( I made that job up.) The reason I would want to be Inventor of Creation is so that I could invent sports,video games, and many more to make this utopia even more perfect!!!
