  3. Over the summer, I read a book called Ttyl. Ttyl stands for "talk to you later". The book was written in instant messages from three girls named Zoe, Maddie, and Angela. I liked the book because it was all about high school, boy drama, and the true meaning of friendship. I give the book 5 stars because it was like a soap opera in my head about teenage girls. (:

  5. I read 5 Little Pigs. It's a murder mystery by Agatha Christie. I really didn't like this book since one guy gets murdered then nothing else happens. There was no action and no suspense.

  6. This summer I read a book titled Get Well Soon by Julie Halpern. I really liked this book because the main character reminded me of my good friend. Sure, my friend doesn't live in a mental hospital, but their personality's were almost identical. I would definitely recommend this book because it's a fun read, and you can easily relate.

  8. My favorite book that I have read over the summer would have to be Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. I believe it was an amazing book! I simply loved reading it. It was like a magnet, I couldn't stop. It even taught me a little bit of Spanish. It was horrifying, dramatic, an urban love story, violent, but also caring and sweet. I enjoyed it very much, even during the creepy parts of the book. She is an amazing author who also lives in Illinois. She describes the book and the characters in a fascinating way. I simply want to read it over and over again.

  9. I watched the movie I Am Legend a long time ago, and I didn't know it had a book. So I read the book, and compared it to the movie and I think the novel version has more details in it and the story isn't as confusing as the movie. That is one great book that I read over the summer.

  11. One of the books I read over the summer was the third book to the Uglies series, Specials. I really liked this book because the hole book is filled with a huge combination of love, lose, and major adventure. This book made me think about the possibilities of the future. As well as the how the things we do now can effect our future. Before you read this book you should read the first two before this one.

  12. One book I read was The Face on the Milk Carton. It was about a girl named Janie who finds a three year old version of herself on the side of a milk carton, but it says she was missing. I found this book interesting because Janie tries to find her real family, but in secret. When the truth comes out about what really happened to her, she learns about cults, siblings she didn't have before, and a whole new life in a different state.

  13. I suppose my favorite book this summer was Unwind by Neal Shusterman. The book had a whole different life to it than ours. It was a book that explained a time in the future, where abortion wasn't allowed, but somethings much worse were. Children from the age of thirteen to eighteen have the risk of being chosen to be unwound (In my words, killed and used for parts) But three kids are rebelling, and on the run. It was simply extremely interesting.

It was a cute book in the end and I would recommend this to a friend.

  110. Over the 2010 summer I read the book Marley and Me. The first time I ever heard about Marley and Me was the movie so I went to see the movie, so I went to see the movie. Then came out the book, and usually the book is always better than the movie, so I read the book and I thought the book was great it was defiantly a book worth reading numerous times. I loved the movie and loved the book much more. it was easier to read because I can relate to the book and I felt like I was actually in the book, there were some laughs here and there and some sad moments and some tense moments that I liked to read. To me Marley and Me was 4 books in one. It was more than just about a dog it was about raising a family, learning right from wrong, and making decisions in your life. Loved the book!

It is about a man named jack who works at a hotel and is sensitive to supern atural forces, and the chef he works with has the same power just to a less degree. He is warned not to go near romm 217. The building acts as a psychic, and manipulates the living and the dead. It is a good horror book to read and has the same suspenseful edge as It that Liam read
